Bespoke One-to-One & Small Group Workshops
Stephen Power - a very experienced trainer, lecturer and course designer - offers personal photography and/or computer-based digital imaging workshops using Photoshop and Lightroom software.
The workshop base is ideally situated in the west Limerick countryside - in the grounds of an 18th century manor house, complete with its own private wood and river. The tuition is personally designed, via direct consultation with the students - to suit individual level of expertise, and individual requirements.
Students can choose to explore a range of photographic techniques and subjects, including still life, studio portraiture, landscape and travel imagery. it may also be possible to arrange to "shadow" Stephen on a professional shoot.
The tuition day begins at 9am and ends at 6pm with lunch provided - always in a photogenic location. Students can choose to use the whole day for photography work or use some of it to learn the basics of Digital processing with state-of-the-art software such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom.
These tuition days are ideally suited to local photographers and visitors alike. In fact, visitors to Ireland will benefit from Stephen's knowledge of local beauty spots, many of which can be used as locations for the photographic work. For them, the workshops offer a chance to see Ireland "off the beaten tracks" while simultaneously enhancing their personal photography skills.
The workshops are open to individuals or small groups (maximum 3 people) are charged on a daily basis.
The current basic fee (tuition and lunch) is €395 per person per day. Group fees vary, depending on numbers.
Additional fees may be charged for studio time, model fees, travel expenses and photographic prints, if applicable.
Participants should bring a good quality digital camera - although one can be hired, if required.
