Photography Workshop Tours with Stephen Power
Award-winning photographer Stephen Power will teach you how to increase your digital photographic skills while you explore some of the regions most fascinating and photogenic areas.
These workshops are perfect if you want to increase your digital photography skills. Stephen knows just where to find the perfect image – and he will tell you all you need to know to take a truly memorable photograph.
The tuition is personally designed, via direct consultation with yourself - to suit individual levels of expertise, and available time frames.
You can choose to explore a range of photographic techniques and subjects, including architecture, still-life, landscape and travel-related imagery and digital manipulation. You can choose to use the whole scheduled time for photography “shooting” - or spend some of it learning the basics of digital processing with state-of-the-art software such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom.
The Workshops can be scheduled from a half-day to two days in duration and are held either wholly on location or partly on location and at Stephen’s studio, a restored 200 year old Gate-Lodge in the grounds of “Glenville House” an 18th century manor house, near Ardagh in West Limerick, complete with its own private wood and stream – perfect for nature study shots.
The workshops are open to individuals or small groups (maximum 6 people) are charged on a daily basis.

- €395 per full day (incl: coffee and lunch) max 8 people per group.

From there, you will move out in the picturesque village with Stephen, who will guide you to the most photogenic buildings, scenery and other locations, including a river walk, for great photographs. Stephen will be with you, at all times, to answer any questions and advise on photographic techniques, lighting and composition to ensure that you make the most of the amazing scenes in front of your eyes.
The workshop closes at 1pm in a typical Irish pub, to recap on the experience and the lessons learned.
