Our Practical Photo Walks in Adare Village, Co. Limerick – frequently regarded as Ireland’s prettiest village - are for individuals or small groups of Photography enthusiasts (up to 4 people per walk) who want to learn about photography out in the real world talking, walking, taking photographs and learning about photography and about how your camera works.
The walk starts at a café where Stephen will answer any photographic questions you may have - and set challenges for the walk.
During the Photo Walk, Award-Winning photographer Stephen Power will offer personalized tuition and helpful hints and tips to ensure that you get the best souvenirs money can't buy - your own outstanding photographs!
At the end of the walk (often in a typical Irish pub) you can share images by swapping cameras and asking more questions or offering feedback on the experience!
Our regular Photo Walks start and end in the beautiful village of Adare in County Limerick. But, they can be held anywhere you like, on request!

Price includes photography instruction, guided walk and the first cup of coffee.

Photo Walks are bookable by families, groups of friends, organizations, touring groups and individuals. Minimum group: 4 people, maximum group: 8 people.

About Adare Village
Adare is one of Ireland’s oldest, and prettiest villages. A circular walk around the village, and along the river will take in some very special scenery including a medieval castle, a 17th century manor house - now a famous hotel: Bill Clinton stayed there and Tiger Woods played on the golf course.
There are rows of quaint thatched cottages; two ancient churches; a ruined monastery and a walk along the River Maigue, made famous by poets and writers – not to mention several authentic Irish pubs!
All in all a wonderful setting for a photography class - packed with unique photo opportunities!!

Stephen Power won the 2007 NAPP Guru Award for photography. Also in 2007 the prestigious Association of Editorial Photographers of the UK & Ireland honoured Stephen Power with a "Showcase" of his work.
